I’m Bethany aka The Reading Nymph.
I began making bookmarks early in 2025 as I became increasingly frustrated at my remarkable ability to lose every bookmark I ever touched. I purchased some magnetic bookmarks but quickly realised they were almost always paper based and would inevitably rip before too long.
I began trialling fabric options before I stumbled upon the perfect solution. Leather. Well… vegan leather.
After making some very dodgy initial mockups just for my own personal use, I found that my friends were also in need of sturdy bookmarks. Thats when The Reading Nymph found its feet.
After months and months of trialling material samples, magnet samples and design transfer processes, I finalised a design that I was happy with and started reaching out to wonderful creators on instagram to trial my products for me.
I met some wonderful people there and my platform began to grow slowly and steadily.
Now it is July 2025 (as i’m writing this) and i’m almost ready to launch!

I’m a big reader and love to read romance, mythology and feminist literature. I love spooky season, etymology and getting book recommendations from fellow bookstagrammers!
I can’t wait to start sharing my creations with you all and I hope you love what we have yet to come!
